2018 (Los Angeles Football Club): 

  • Started 33 of 33 regular season appearances (2,990 minutes played).  

  • Earned first clean sheet in Club history in a 1 – 0 win at the Seattle Sounders on March 4. 

  • Had a 16-8-9 record with 114 saves. 

  • Tied for second in MLS with 10 shutouts. 

  • Named to MLS Team of the Week three times (Week 1, 25, 29). 

  • Started all four of the Club’s Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches.  

  • Started the first MLS Cup Playoff match in Club history, a 2 – 3 loss to Real Salt Lake on November 1.  

2017 (Seattle Sounders / Seattle FC 2, USL):  

  • Appeared in two matches for the Sounders, starting one match where he recorded 90 minutes in a 4-3 win over D.C. United on July 19.  

  • Logged 90 minutes and registered three saves in his second appearance on Nov. 21.  

  • With FC 2, Miller played in 22 matches (all starts), recording 1,950 minutes. 

  • Played in the first leg of the Western Conference Championship against the Houston Dynamo on Nov. 21, a 1-0 shutout win.  

2016 (Seattle Sounders / Seattle FC 2, USL): 

  • Made his MLS debut in a 2-1 road loss vs. Real Salt Lake on March 12.  

  • Made eight saves in regulation and two more during the penalty-kick shootout in Seattle’s Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinal win. 

  • With FC 2, Miller made 12 appearances and recorded 45 saves with a 1.25 GAA. 

2015 (Seattle FC 2, USL / SVN Zweibrücken, German Fourth Division): 

  • Signed with SVN Zweibrücken in January after being drafted in the Second Round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by Seattle. 

  • Signed with Sounders FC 2on July 9.  

  • Recorded a shutout and made two saves in a 4-0 victory against Arizona United SC on July 12, before having successful thumb surgery on his right hand that ended his 2015 campaign. 


COLLEGE (Northwestern): 

2014 (Senior):  

  • Miller led the Big Ten Conference in goals against average (0.56), save percentage (.853), and shutouts (9).  

  • Unanimous choice for 2014 Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year and the All-Big 10 First Team. 

  • Named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region First Team and All-America Second Team and the 2014 Scholar All-America First Team—making him the only player in the nation to earn both All-America and Scholar All-America honors, plus an invite to the MLS Combine.  

2013 (Junior):  

  • Gave up just 16 goals in 16 appearances. 

  • Was tied for second in the Big 10 with eight shutouts and ranked fourth in the conference with 3.69 saves per game and fifth with 59 saves.  

  • Named Academic-All Big Ten Selection and to the NSCA Great Lakes All-Region Second Team.  

2012 (Sophomore):  

  • Miller started all 23 games and played 2,185 minutes. 

  • First Team All-Big Ten selection. 

  • Posted a .730 save percentage and a 0.82 goals-against average which ranked third in NU single-season history.   

2011 (Freshman):  

  • Started all 19 of his appearances, finishing the season with a 0.86 goals against average, .746 save percentage and nine shutouts.  

  • Named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team and the Defensive Player of the Tournament. 

  • Two time Big Ten Player of the Week selection was First-Team All-Big Ten. 

  • Unanimous selection for the All-Freshman Team.  



  • Named to the United States Under-23 National Team in 2015. 

  • Invited to the U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team Camp in 2011 and the U-18 National Team Camp in 2010. 

  • Earned first Senior Team camp invite to the USMNT annual January Training Camp in 2019.
