LAFC2 has acquired forward Seung-jae Yoo on loan through June 2027 from Jeju SK FC, a founding member of the K-League, South Korea’s top professional club competition.
A native of Suwon, South Korea, Yoo joined Jeju SK in January of this year and made his K-League debut on August 25, playing 12 minutes as a substitute against the Pohang Steelers. The young attacker recently competed for the 2026 Red&Gold Global Trophy, an elite, international youth tournament that took place at the FC Bayern Campus in Munich, Germany, this past August.
Jeju SK joined Red&Gold Football, a joint venture between Los Angeles Football Club and FC Bayern München, in September 2025 with the goal of providing talented players in South Korea a pathway to top European leagues and Major League Soccer (MLS). Yoo is the first player from Jeju to join LAFC’s player pathway as part of Red&Gold Football’s integrated, unique global platform that supports players’ athletic and personal development.
