After a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Tacoma Defiance on April 10, LAFC2 hits the road to take on the Real Monarchs at America First Field in Sandy, Utah, on Wednesday, April 23.
Matt Evans powered the Black & Gold (2W-1L-1D) past Tacoma with a brace, helping his club stay in eighth place in the Western Conference with seven points through four matches. Evans enters Wednesday’s match in red-hot form, with five goals and one assist across all competitions so far in 2025.
This will mark the sixth all-time meeting between LAFC2 and Real Monarchs, with LAFC2 holding a record of 3-2-0 against Real Salt Lake’s MLS NEXT Pro affiliate.
