Fresh off a 1-0 victory over the Portland Timbers2 last Sunday, LAFC2 hits the road for a rivalry clash against Ventura County FC on Sunday, July 20, at William Rolland Stadium in Thousand Oaks, CA.
The win lifted the Black & Gold to 12th place in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference, improving their record to 6W-8L-2D (21 points) through 16 matches.
Tommy Mihalić scored the match-winner last weekend, bringing his season tally to four goals—tying him with Matt Evans and DeCarlo for the team lead.
This will mark the second meeting between the LAFC and LA Galaxy affiliates this season. The two sides previously faced off on March 14, when LAFC2 secured a 3-1 win at Titan Stadium.
