Mike Sorber comes to LAFC from the Philadelphia Union where he served as an assistant coach for four seasons. The former U.S. National Team player and MLS stand-out was the first American to be named a Mexican League All-Star with UNAM Pumas in 1995. Sorber previously worked with Bradley as an assistant with the U.S. Men’s National Team between 2007-2011. Other coaching stints include a stop with his alma mater, Saint Louis University (2001-2007) and the Montreal Impact (2011-2013). As a player, Sorber spent time in MLS with Kansas City, MetroStars and the Chicago Fire and was inducted into the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame in 2017.
