LAFC center back Walker Zimmerman has been called in by U.S. Men's National Team head coach Dave Sarachan for a pair of upcoming friendlies.
All 26 of Zimmerman's appearances for LAFC in the Club's inaugural season came as a starter. The defender tied a career-high with four goals in 2018.
On the international level, Zimmerman has earned three caps with the USMNT. In his last appearance in red, white, and blue, Zimmerman scored his first and only goal for the USMNT, a header in a 3-0 friendly win over Bolivia.
The LAFC defender joins Sarachan's squad of 28 for training in London. The USMNT will take on World Cup semifinalist England on Nov. 15 before playing its final match of 2018 against Italy on Nov. 20.
