What do Carlos Vela and Leo Messi have in common? Well, quite a few things actually.
Both have a left foot that produces magic. Both have a propensity for making defenders look silly. And both are stars of their respective teams.
But you can add one more thing to the list. Vela and Messi are both in the running for the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award in the category of Favorite Soccer Star.
Joining Vela and Messi are U.S. Women's National Team stars Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd, as well as Zlatan Ibrahimović.
Voting is underway now at KCS2019.com. Winners will be announced at the awards on Aug. 10.
