What platform is YouTube TV available on?
YouTube TV is available wherever you are, be that mobile, tablet, or computer. To watch on TV, you can download our TV app on select TV devices, or stream YouTube TV from your mobile device or computer using Chromecast or AirPlay.
Do I have to pay for YouTube TV?
Yes - for $50 a month you’ll not only have access to LAFC matches locally, but you’ll also get the full line-up of over 50 networks and channels that YouTubeTV offers. Channels include the same live local feeds in Los Angeles from KABC 7, CBS 2, KTTV FOX 11 and KNBC 4 that are offered by a cable or satellite provider, in addition to networks like CNN, ESPN, AMC, FX, TNT, and FOX Sports. And unlike cable and satellite, there’s no contract required.
Do I NEED YouTube TV to watch LAFC?
No, you don’t. LAFC will make their games available to all fans in Los Angeles. LAFC’s Official Spanish-Language TV partner, Univision Los Angeles will broadcast 18 regular season matches – two on UniMás KFTR and 16 on partner station KVMD. In addition, LAFC has 13 nationally-televised matches this season on ESPN, FOX, FS1, and Univision.
What channel will the games air on within the YouTube TV service?
Matches will be featured on a designated LAFC branded YouTubeTV channel, in addition to exclusive LAFC content. The dedicated LAFC channel will be the official, exclusive home to watch all English-language LAFC matches and content.
Will I also need cable to see LAFC matches?
No - YouTubeTV is a cable and satellite alternative. Not only will you be able to see all local LAFC matches, Supporters will be able to watch all nationally televised matches and have access to many of the same channels and networks provided by cable and satellite.
What parts of Southern California can subscribe to the matches?
LAFC locally televised matches will be available on YouTube TV to subscribers in the Los Angeles market, as well as Inyo, Kern, Kings, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tulare, Ventura, and San Diego.
Will I be able to watch LAFC matches with a YouTube TV account outside of Los Angeles?
Nationally broadcast matches on ESPN, FOX, and FS1 will be available on a YouTube TV account outside of Los Angeles. All locally televised LAFC matches are geo-fenced and available in the Los Angeles market as well as the areas listed in the question above. All other LAFC content, including pre and post-game shows will be available outside of these markets.
Is this the first streaming deal for an MLS Club?
Yes - this is the first partnership of its kind in North American pro sports where all locally televised matches are on a live TV streaming provider.
What other content is included in the deal?
Original LAFC programming and content will be featured on the LAFC YouTube Channel. New for 2019 – the debut of ‘LAFC Matchday’ on YouTube TV -- exclusive in-depth coverage that features shows such as ‘Faces of LAFC’ and the ‘Black & Gold Show’.
