LAFC Signs Forward Luis Muller And Defender Diego Rosales To Short-Term Agreements

LAFC has signed forward Luis Muller and defender Diego Rosales on short-term agreements from LAFC2. 

Müller, 23, joined LAFC2 from Cal Baptist University where he made 69 appearances and scored 26 goals and 19 assists in four seasons from 2020-2023. A native of Cottbus, Germany, Müller played in the youth programs of FC Energie Cottbus, FC Köln and FC Viktoria Köln.

Müller, made his first appearance for LAFC2 during the 4-1 win over Minnesota United FC 2 where he scored two goals and one assist on Sunday, March 17 during the Club’s season opening match. 

Rosales,18, previously joined the LAFC first team in 2023 on a first team contract on June 21 through the end of the 2023 season. Diego previously joined the first team on short-term agreements, making his senior debut in an official competition during the penalty shoot-out win vs. Monterey Bay in the fourth round of the 2023 U.S. Open Cup on May 1. Overall, Rosales registered two first team appearances in the U.S. Open Cup. In 2023, Diego Rosales started all 20 appearances for LAFC2 in MLS NextPro

In his first appearance of the 2024 for LAFC2, Rosales registering one assist and played 80 minutes during the Club’s 4-1 season opening match vs. Minnesota United FC 2. Rosales previously appeared on the bench for LAFC in 2024 in two occasions, vs. Seattle Feb. 24 and vs. Real Salt Lake on Mar. 2
