Defender Lamar Batista Loaned To FC Tucson

LAFC announced today that defender Lamar Batista has been loaned to FC Tucson of the USL League One. Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the loan agreement, LAFC retains the right to recall Batista at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.


This year, the 6-foot-5 defender played in two contests for Phoenix Rising FC during a brief loan stint with the USL Championship side.


Batista, 21, signed with LAFC on February 21 after spending the previous two campaigns with Portland Timbers 2, seeing action in 44 matches across all competitions. 


TRANSACTION: Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) loans defender Lamar Batista to FC Tucson of the USL League One.
