LAFC Welcomes DoorDash As A Golden Boot Club Partner

DoorDash, consumers’ favorite local commerce platform, has joined LAFC as a Golden Boot Club partner and will serve as the Official On-Demand Delivery Platform of the club. The LAFC Golden Boot Club platform provides brands exclusive access, visibility and experiences for LAFC’s elite level of partnership. 

“We are thrilled to welcome DoorDash to the Black & Gold family for what promises to be another historic season for LAFC,” LAFC Co-President & Chief Business Officer Larry Freedman said. “DoorDash has proven to be a leader in innovation and a tremendous community partner in Los Angeles, and we are excited to join forces to form an impactful partnership.” 

The Northeast entrance to BMO Stadium will now be known as the “DoorDash Gate”, and the midfield box is newly named as the “DoorDash Midfield Box”.

As part of the multi-year Golden Boot partnership, LAFC and DoorDash will come together to help address food insecurity facing residents and families throughout Los Angeles by hosting food drives and other community focused events to deliver meals and groceries to support those in need. 

DoorDash will also be a part of the new “Goals That Give” initiative, donating 1,000 meals per goal scored during the regular season to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, up to $50,000 , and help minimize other costs as the food bank fulfills its mission to serve neighbors experiencing food insecurity. DoorDash and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank have partnered via Project DASH to power more than 160,000 deliveries of an estimated over 3.2 million meals to neighbors across Los Angeles. Project DASH is DoorDash’s initiative to empower food banks, food pantries, and other social impact organizations to increase access in their communities. 

For over half a century, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has been combating hunger in Los Angeles County, and provides millions of pounds of food each week to people facing nutrition insecurity. Through partnerships, community engagement, education and advocacy, the Food Bank strives toward its vision: that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles County.   

Fans and supporters can look forward to additional promotions and opportunities from DoorDash including away-day food delivery promotions to make watching LAFC’s road games even more enjoyable.
