After a cathartic 2-0 road win against Western Conference rivals St. Louis CITY SC in their last MLS match on May 15, LAFC went out and qualified for the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals with a 3-0 romp against USL Championship side Loudoun United earlier this week. Now attention turns back to the MLS regular season and an inter-conference date with the ever-dangerous Atlanta United this weekend.
