Mayor Eric Garcetti announced an extension of our Safer at Home order through May 15. Angelenos should continue to refrain from non-essential activities and stay home as much as possible. Across Los Angeles, non-essential businesses and activities will remain closed. Physical distancing and face coverings for workers and customers will continue to be required.
The City of Los Angeles, in partnership with the County of Los Angeles, is expanding access to free COVID-19 testing to more LA County residents. Testing is available for people with COVID-19 symptoms, or people who have been prevented from working because of contact with a person with COVID-19. Same or next day testing appointments are prioritized for individuals over 65, or who have underlying chronic health conditions.
