Jordan Harvey and Steven Beitashour have been teammates, friends, roommates, and now podcasters with the debut of "Back to Back."
In the first episode, they welcome LAFC GM & EVP John Thorrington. Jordan and Beita pick John's brain on a variety of topics starting with the culture at successful clubs. John speaks about his time at Manchester United and how Sir Alex Ferguson informs some of the decision-making processes he employs today at LAFC. They get into the early formation of the Club, putting a team on the pitch for the inaugural season, and what John's past experience in MLS taught him.
Then the guys change gears a bit to talk about a trip they all took to Dodgers' batting practice. Hanging with Clayton Kershaw, Justin Turner, and the rest of the Dodgers before LAFC night at Dodger Stadium, a group of LAFC players got a chance to take some cuts. Could John hack it?
Finally, the guys talk dealing with injuries and the mentality for LAFC's second season.
