These are two questions every coach in every professional sport has to ask when starting a new job. Bob Bradley welcomed Red Bull Salzburg head coach Jesse Marsch to the show and the two discussed their thoughts on building a team from the ground up in Part 1.
Jesse recently became the first American coach to win a major trophy in Europe when his RB Salzburg team lifted the Austrian Cup. Having played for Bob then working as an assistant during the 2010 World Cup, Jesse has a wealth of experience both working under Bradley and working with his own teams, having had success with the New York Red Bulls before moving to Europe. Bob and Jesse talk about some of the shared stories they have that inform the way they approach a team and its mentality and also share some of the ways they differ in their personalities.
