Coming to the airwaves this week, The MAK Show, live Fridays at 8:15 a.m. PT on Mornings with Keyshawn, LZ and Travis on ESPN LA 710 and the ESPN app. LAFC All-Star midfielder Mark-Anthony will join Los Angeles’s only local sports morning show each and every week to provide a unique and in-depth look on life in the MLS Orlando bubble, provide insight on what is happening behind the scenes and more during the MLS is Back tournament. Fans can listen to all the LAFC games on ESPN LA 710 and the ESPN app.
A member of LAFC’s inaugural 2018 season roster, the Canadian National Team star has flourished in his first two seasons with the Club both on and off the pitch. On the pitch, he started 20 of the first 21 games in the Black & Gold’s inaugural campaign before being sidelined with an ankle fracture, and last year was an MLS All-Star and a major contributor in the Club’s 2019 Supporter Shield run.
Off the pitch, Kaye has been active in the greater LAFC community and the club’s charitable efforts, as well as providing a strong voice in advocating for social justice. He recently penned an op-ed on LAFC.com on racial struggles and the need for change, and has taken part in several roundtable discussions on the issue both in the US and Canada, respectively.
Previously, Mark-Anthony Kaye has built a relationship with the Mornings with Keyshawn, LZ and Travis, joining the show as a call-in guest numerous times and in-person for live remotes at LAFC’s home, Banc of California Stadium, to discuss the team’s play on the field as well as important discussions including LZ being an honorary in-match LAFC Falconer.
