Throughout June, LAFC remained deeply engaged with the community we’re proud to represent. From showing our support during PRIDE celebrations across Los Angeles to recognizing and uplifting local educators, our team was out in the city all month long. These moments reflect our ongoing commitment to inclusion, appreciation, and standing with those who inspire us every day.
PRIDE
As LAFC celebrates Pride month, we were thrilled to activate across the Los Angeles Community.
WeHo Pride
As part of WeHo Pride, LAFC proudly joined fellow iconic Los Angeles sports organizations, including the Dodgers, Lakers, Sparks, Angel City FC, and Rams at the WeHo Pride Festival’s Sports Hub. In partnership with BMO, we activated a fun and engaging soccer skee-ball experience that brought the community together. This activation allowed LAFC to connect directly with fans, community leaders, and partners through a variety of interactive pop-ups and events, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to inclusion, celebration, and community engagement in the heart of West Hollywood.

L.A. Pride Parade
For the first time, LAFC created a custom float in the 2025 L.A. Pride Parade — an exciting moment made possible through the support of Heineken, Ticketmaster, and LAFC Supporter Group, Pride Republic. Surrounded by staff, supporters, and thousands of Angelenos, we proudly marched to celebrate and honor the LGBTQIA+ community. Our participation underscored LAFC’s commitment to fostering inclusivity, unity, and pride both on and off the pitch.
Pride LGBTQIA+ Community Spotlight: Rainbow Labs
At LAFC, Pride is celebrated all year long. As part of our ongoing commitment to uplifting the LGBTQ+ community, we’re proud to spotlight **Rainbow Labs**, a nonprofit creating mentorship-driven programs for LGBTQ+ youth of color in Los Angeles. Their mission is to build belonging, confidence, and leadership through community and connection.

TEACHER APPRECIATION
In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Month, LAFC is proud to honor the incredible educators in our community. Last month, in partnership with the University of Phoenix, we had the joy of connecting with local teachers and showing our gratitude by handing out much-needed school supplies. Shoutout to our teachers for all that you do – every day!

LAFC FIT
For the third consecutive season, the LAFC Fit program, presented by Kaiser Permanente Southern California, delivered engaging, hands-on health education to over 2,000 students across the LA area. Focused on nutrition, hydration, physical activity, and mental well-being, the program concluded with a field trip to Expo Park— featuring stretching and breathing exercises with Kaiser Permanente Wellness Expert, Robert Fernandez.

THINKWATTS FOUNDATION STREET FAIR
We were proud to support and sponsor the ThinkWatts Foundation and their incredible work in bringing the community together for the annual Watts Juneteenth Street Fair. It’s powerful to see thousands gather in celebration of Black culture, creativity, and liberation. Events like these remind us of the strength that comes from unity, joy, and local impact. Grateful to the thinkWatts Foundation for their partnership and commitment to community.
MACON CLINIC
On June 18, LAFC and Mercer University teamed up to host a free youth soccer clinic at Five Star Stadium in Macon, GA, as part of LAFC’s participation in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The event welcomed local 4th–7th graders for an evening of soccer instruction led by Mercer’s men’s and women’s soccer teams alongside the Black & Gold.
Participants built skills, made new friends, and enjoyed a fun, high-energy atmosphere while learning valuable lessons that extend beyond the game. The kids also had the unique opportunity to hear directly from LAFC Head Coach Steve Cherundolo, as well as players Adrian Wibowo and Adam Saldana, who shared words of encouragement and insights into the life of a professional athlete.
The clinic highlighted LAFC’s continued commitment to expanding access to the sport and supporting communities across the country. With Mercer serving as LAFC’s official home base for the tournament, the partnership brought Club World Cup excitement to life in Macon and helped build lasting connections through the world’s game.

LAFC Unified Home Match
Immediately following the LAFC vs. FC Dallas home match on Saturday, July 12, fans are invited to stay and support the LAFC and FC Dallas Unified teams as they compete at BMO Stadium. The LAFC Special Olympics Unified Team, created in collaboration with MLS Works and Special Olympics Southern California and with support from BMO, unites individuals between the ages of 16 and 25, with and without intellectual disabilities, to compete as members of one team. As part of the program, the Unified Team attends weekly training sessions, plays in scrimmages, and plays competitive matches against Unified Teams from other Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs.
All ticket donations are offered to LAFC Foundation’s grantees and community partners. Through your generous contribution, we are afforded the opportunity to provide unforgettable experiences to individuals within the Los Angeles community who may otherwise be unable to attend a match. Please find further information about our grantees here.
