Force For Good Monthly - November 2025

LAFC Foundation Force for Good Monthly Newsletter

LAFC had a great start to the holiday season! We launched our annual Season of Giving initiative at the All-Staff Volunteer Day at MudTown Farms, created unforgettable memories at our Black & Gold Night of Hope in partnership with BMO, supported families at Magic Johnson’s Holiday Hope event, assembled more than 400 hygiene kits with the Hollywood Food Coalition, and hosted an LAFC2 x Pasadena PAL youth soccer clinic. Thank you to the partners and volunteers who helped make an impact this November.

All-Staff Volunteer Day - MudTown Farms - WLCAC in Watts
/

As part of our Season of Giving campaign presented by Ford, LAFC proudly hosted our first All-Staff Volunteer Day at MudTown Farms - WLCAC in Watts. Our team rolled up their sleeves and contributed to the community by preparing garden beds, weeding, planting, turning soil, creating compost piles, seed sorting, and more! This day of service reinforced our commitment to caring for the environment, deepening our connection to the community, and honoring LAFC’s efforts to make a positive impact in the greater Los Angeles area.

Black & Gold Night of Hope

Hosted in partnership with Wish Upon a Teen and BMO, our first Black & Gold Night of Hope was an unforgettable evening. Teens bravely facing life-limiting medical conditions were treated to a full glam experience, including outfit selection, hair and makeup, suit fittings, and more – all supported by our incredible volunteers. Carlos Vela and Aaron Long spent time with the teens as they got ready, participated in the photo booth, and joined the dance party.

The evening culminated in a joyful prom party, complete with nonstop celebration. One teen shared, “This is a night I will remember for the rest of my life.”

Thank you to Wish Upon a Teen, BMO, and everyone who helped make this event a meaningful and magical success.

Magic Johnson’s Holiday of Hope Event

LAFC sponsored Earvin “Magic” Johnson’s Holiday Hope Event – an invite-only, drive-through community engagement event at Faithful Central Bible Church in the Trinity Building parking lot. Thanks to the generosity of many corporate partners, more than 800 Inglewood families received essential food, clothing, and gifts ahead of the holiday season.

Throughout the day, LAFC volunteers played a crucial role in directing traffic, assembling donation kits, and loading cars to ensure a smooth, safe, and uplifting experience for every family served.

Hygiene Kit Build – Hollywood Food Coalition

Hygeine Kit Build

Ongoing changes to SNAP and EBT benefits are impacting families across Los Angeles. Alongside the Hollywood Food Coalition, LAFC assembled more than 400 hygiene kits filled with toothbrushes, toothpaste, handwarmers, chapstick, and other essentials to support community members facing food and resource insecurity.

LAFC2 Team Clinic
/

LAFC2 players and coaches visited youth from the Pasadena PAL program who were affected by the recent LA wildfires. Over 50 PAL program participants engaged with the team in a question-and-answer workshop led by Mental Health Code. Following the workshop, youth participated in a hands-on soccer clinic led by the LAFC2 team, which featured small-sided competitions, technique instruction, and LAFC giveaways. The day focused on building skills, learning mental health tools, and creating meaningful relationships. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this impactful event possible.

Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday returns on November 29, and we’re inviting our fans to shop small and support the independent businesses that bring character and strength to our communities. This year, LAFC and BMO proudly honored small businesses impacted by the wildfires or who stepped up to support those businesses through our 2025 Small Business Spotlight program. Please join LAFC and BMO in contributing to the rebuilding of our community by shopping small this holiday season. Your support makes all the difference!
