LAFC Acquires $100,000 In Allocation Money From Inter Miami CF In Exchange For Midfielder Bryce Duke 

LAFC announced today that the club has acquired $100,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) in 2022 from Inter Miami CF in exchange for midfielder Bryce Duke. LAFC could receive up to an additional $75,000 in GAM if certain performance metrics are met.

“We want to thank Bryce for his professionalism on and off the field while he was in Los Angeles,” LAFC Co-President and General Manager John Thorrington said. “We wish him the best of luck in the next phase of his career.”

Duke, 20, joined LAFC on Jan. 25, 2020 ahead of the Club’s third MLS season from the Barca Residency Academy in Arizona. Duke made his LAFC and professional debut on Feb. 18, 2020 vs. Club León in the 2020 Concacaf Champions League.

Overall, Duke made five starts in 27 appearances in all competitions, registering three assists in 715 total minutes. In 2021, Duke made 12 starts while on loan with LAFC’s United Soccer League affiliate, the Las Vegas Lights, scoring one goal and registering three assists in 1,002 minutes.

General Allocation Money (GAM) is money that is available to a club in addition to its salary budget. Each MLS Club received an annual allotment of GAM, Funds strategically provided by the league to the teams to add or retain players that will make an immediate impact on the field.

TRANSACTION: The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) acquires $100,000 in General Allocation Money from Inter Miami CF in exchange for Bryce Duke. LAFC could receive up to an additional $75,000 in GAM if certain performance metrics are met.
