LAFC & Nectar Extend Club’s ‘Month Of Giving’ With Mattress Donation To Union Rescue Mission Of Los Angeles

LAFC and industry-leading, premier mattress brand Nectar, a Resident brand and the official mattress partner of the LAFC, today announced the extension of the Club’s ‘Month of Giving.’ Together, LAFC and Nectar will donate mattresses to the Union Rescue Mission of Los Angeles and their Hope Gardens Family Center, which helps men, women and families devastated by homelessness through food, shelter, education, counseling and long-term recovery programs.

“Serving the community as a Force For Good is a pillar of our Club,” said LAFC Co-President & CBO Larry Freedman. “We are proud to join forces with our partners at Nectar, who share our vision to reach beyond the pitch to support the life changing work of the Union Rescue Mission of Los Angeles.”

To celebrate the donation and kick off their partnership, LAFC and Nectar created a co-branded video with the help of two of the Club’s most recognizable personalities, midfielder Latif Blessing and LAFC Owner Will Ferrell.

“We’re honored to partner with LAFC to support the Union Rescue Mission of Los Angeles,” said Ran Reske, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Resident. “We believe in the power of great sleep and are humbled to support the Union Rescue Mission’s work to improve lives.”

Nectar is the official mattress and training kit partner of LAFC, as well as the title sponsor of the Club’s training center on the Cal State LA campus, the ‘Nectar Performance Center.’ The Nectar Performance Center is the hub of the team’s activities between match days that includes team training as well as rest and recovery in the newly built Nap Room that features Nectar products.
