Designed with the city in mind, LAFC’s new primary kit for the 2024 season will be introduced publicly on Saturday, Feb. 17, to the club’s legions of supporters.
Since the advent of professional football in the late 1800s, jerseys have come to represent more than merely a uniform to the players who wear them and to those who support them. A club’s jersey often contains details that marry the team to the community it calls home. That tradition holds true at Los Angeles Football Club, whose 2024 black and gold club kit represents strength, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
With the name of its new kit sponsor, BMO, embossed in gold across the jersey’s torso and framed by vertical pinstripes (a detail LAFC has never featured on its kit over the club’s six previous seasons), the jersey is an ode to the Los Angeles community, to the vibrant artisans who call LA home, and to those who have forged the city’s culture of strength through the mastery of their crafts.
Los Angeles—home to the idea that dreams can become reality through imagination and effort—is depicted on LAFC’s 2024 jersey by way of a clean, minimalist look that represents the spirit of the club, and the power of “the world’s city.” The club’s iconic, winged LA crest, with the 2022 championship star above it, rests on the jersey’s left chest panel. In the tradition of the jerseys that came before it, the neck tape inside reads, “Shoulder to Shoulder,” one of the club’s rally cries since its inception in 2016, a mantra that unites supporters and partners alike by reminding them that the club came to life through their combined efforts.

Fans are invited to join LAFC players and supporters in Pepsi Plaza at BMO Stadium on February 17, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., for the official 2024jersey launch event. This is the first in-person opportunity for fans to view, purchase, and customize the brand-new jersey.
The Los Angeles Football Club will kick off its seventh season of MLS play on February 24, at 1:30 p.m. PT, when it hosts Seattle Sounders FC at BMO Stadium. The game will be televised on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, and on Fox. _Get tickets_.
