LAFC Releases New ‘5 Years Strong’ Primary Jersey For 2022 

LAFC unveiled its highly anticipated new ‘5 Years Strong' primary black jersey for the 2022-23 seasons. Authentic and Replica jerseys will be available to purchase online at, and beginning Friday, February 18 at 10 a.m. PT. Fans are invited to join LAFC this evening at 7 p.m. PT for the official 2022 ‘5 Years Strong’ kit launch presented by FLEX Power Tools on Pepsi Plaza at Banc of California Stadium. This will be the first in-person opportunity for fans to view, purchase and customize the brand-new jersey.

Celebrating five years on the pitch and in the stands, the 2022 jersey pays homage to the Club’s inaugural season home kit with amplified Art Deco patterning. The ‘5 Years Strong’ jersey features a grey graduated Art Deco pattern across the front panel and along the sleeves, offering a fresh take on LAFC’s classic look. 

LAFC’s iconic crest is positioned on the center of the chest, along with the adidas logo above, with primary kit sponsor FLEX Power Tools centered on the torso and Target featured on the shoulder of the right sleeve.  

LAFC maintains the Club’s tradition with the gold neck tape inside the jersey that will continue to bear the Club’s “Shoulder to Shoulder” rally cry that unites its supporters and pays homage to the ethos on which the Club was built alongside its community and city partners. Additionally, the new jersey features “Los Angeles” across the back sign off.

2022 '5 Years Strong' Primary Kit Details

As part of the 2022 Kit Launch presented by FLEX Power Tools, all fans in attendance will enjoy music, carnival games and prizes for the whole family and drinks in the Beer Garden for fans 21+. Fans that purchase a jersey will have the opportunity to visit The Flex Zone where they can have their photos taken just like their favorite LAFC players, enjoy food options courtesy of Postmates and receive a coupon for free jersey customization courtesy of Target (while supplies last).

LAFC will celebrate its fifth season in Major League Soccer (MLS) with a week-long series of events throughout the greater Los Angeles region culminating with the season opening match on Saturday, Feb. 26 against 2021 Western Conference rivals the Colorado Rapids.  Kickoff at Banc of California stadium is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live nationally on Univision and TUDN.
