Inside LAFC Podcast: Max & Vince #4

LAFC remain unbeaten after a trip to Yankee Stadium but it wasn't all smooth sailing.

As they do every week, Max and Vince look at LAFC's performance from all angles. So they start with the big topic of the day, the pitch at Yankee Stadium. Does it play a part and how much of a home-field advantage is it for NYCFC? In addition to contending with the home side and the pitch, LAFC had to deal with its first away travel of the year and there were two injuries they had to account for in the starting 11.

Despite going down on two occasions during the 90 minutes, LAFC managed a point in NYC thanks to a brace from MVP frontrunner Carlos Vela. The guys discuss how important the team's mentality was to get that result and how Vela's leading the way with his play in tough moments. They also had a chat about "Mr. Versatility" Latif Blessing after he featured in the center of midfield for LAFC, his third position in as many matches. And the guys couldn't forget the 200-300 traveling LAFC Supporters that made the trip to the East Coast - you could hear them loud and clear on the FS1 broadcast on Sunday.

After the NYCFC-LAFC talk, it's a roundup from the rest of MLS over the weekend. Are the Sounders for real, is Portland that bad, and how about the crowd in Cincy.

Finally, the guys preview the upcoming match with Real Salt Lake. Mike Petke's team will be without some key players after two red cards against D.C. United in a 5-0 drubbing on Saturday. LAFC have a few of its own missing thanks to international call-ups. The guys give predictions on how they think this match will play out and what to expect from the first YouTube TV broadcast of the season. It all starts on YouTube TV at 6:30pm on March 23.
