Despite the suspension of the MLS season since March 12, LAFC and its neighbors in Exposition Park have remained active.
The COVID-19 crisis has halted matchdays but there's still plenty of work to be done for the surrounding community. Which is why Exposition Park and LAFC have moved forward with a variety of initiatives to help those impacted by the virus.
LAFC has worked together with Expo Park to host food and blood drives at Banc of California Stadium with the help of the Black & Gold Community Relief Fund. While Expo Park itself is the site of one of the most important initiatives during the pandemic: COVID-19 testing.
Through the Baseline COVID-19 Program, California residents have access to free virus testing. The process is simple and done without leaving your car.
The first step is to visit the Expo Park testing website. There you'll find an online screener. After completing the screener, if approved, you'll be able to make an appointment for your test. Tests are completed in the Expo Park Green Lot (formerly Lot 6).
